What is Jacob's Well

The Holy Spirit gives messages that direct the affairs of the New Jerusalem City and the activities carried out are financed by contributions of members in the form of tithes and heart donations. The charity activities include gathering the needy especially homeless young people, hospital visitations, visitation to Orphanages and Old People’s Homes, the Prison, organising Mass weddings for unwedded couples, teaching Catechism to both young and old people in preparation for the reception of Baptism, Holy Communion and Confirmation in the Catholic Church.

The Holy Spirit intends that the City in Enugu being a prototype, widens its horizon and builds schools and hospitals to cater for the needs of the less privileged, both locally and internationally, in our societies. Towards the realisation of these projects, the Holy Spirit on 8th February 2025. gave a message directing that a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) to be known as Jacob’s Well of the New Jerusalem Care Foundation be established to attract funds from individuals and organisations worldwide who are willing to be partners – in – progress in sponsoring the projects.

The Work We Do

Trinity Kitchen

At Jacob’s Well, Trinity Kitchen is dedicated to reaching street children with food, care, and compassion. Through regular outreach programs, we provide warm meals to children living on the streets and support those facing hunger and neglect. We believe that no child should be left unseen or uncared for, and every meal shared is an opportunity to show love and restore dignity.

Beyond providing food, Trinity Kitchen creates a safe space for connection and encouragement. We spend time listening, supporting, and building relationships with the children we meet, reminding them that they matter and that hope is still possible for their future.

Friends of Jesus

Friends of Jesus is our outreach initiative focused on supporting paraplegics and individuals living with physical disabilities. Through regular visits, we provide companionship, encouragement, food items, and practical assistance to help ease some of the challenges they face daily. Our mission is to ensure that no one feels forgotten, isolated, or abandoned.

More than meeting physical needs, Friends of Jesus is about sharing love, dignity, and hope. We believe every person deserves care, respect, and meaningful human connection, and we are committed to creating moments of joy and support for those we serve.

Motherless Babies' Homes

Our Motherless Outreach is dedicated to supporting children in orphanages and motherless homes through acts of love, care, and generosity. We visit homes with food supplies, toiletries, clothing, and other essentials while also spending quality time with the children through conversations, games, and encouragement.

We believe every child deserves to feel valued and cared for. Through this outreach, Jacob’s Well seeks to bring joy, hope, and a sense of belonging to children who may lack stable family support, reminding them that they are deeply loved and seen.

Rehabilitation Centers

As part of this mission, we regularly visit rehabilitation centers creating moments of comfort, companionship, and joy for residents. Beyond material support, we offer listening ears, heartfelt conversations, and a sense of family to individuals who may feel isolated or abandoned. Every visit reflects our belief that love is best expressed through service, empathy, and consistent acts of compassion.

Homes for the Elderly

Through our visits to homes for the elderly, we share companionship, care, food supplies, and moments of joy with senior citizens who deserve love, dignity, and support in their later years. Beyond donations, we create meaningful connections that remind them they are valued members of society.

Our mission is to bring comfort, hope, and human warmth to every elderly home we visit — one conversation, one smile, and one act of kindness at a time.
